Why Should I Avoid Versa?

There are some cautions that you should be aware of with Versa, and your aesthetician will go over these exceptions with you before the process. Don’t use Versa if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding since the safety of Versa used during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been studied.
  • Have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation.
  • Have evidence of scars at the intended treatment sites.
  • Have acne or other ammatory diseases such as rosacea seborrheic dermatitis, or psoriasis.
  • Have allergies that result in severe allergic reactions like anaphylaxis, heightened immune response to allergens.
  • Have Food allergies.
  • Are allergic to natural rubber latex.
  • Are allergic to hyaluronic acid products.
  • Are undergoing anticoagulant therapy, antiplatelet therapy, or have a history of bleeding disorders.

How Long does Versa last?

Wrinkle correction varies from patient to patient. Many people experience the correction of their wrinkles and folds for up to six months. The body absorbs Versa over time, and you will need additional injections.
